It is well known that Nisshin Onpa Seisakusho has produced many excellent instruments, and the effects pedals they produce on an OEM basis under the "Maxon" brand in Japan and the "Ibanez" brand overseas have received high praise around the world. This time, we have a D&S II OD-802 in a large case, which appears to be from around 1980 based on its specifications and internal components. The case shows some scratches, paint peeling, and paint chipping, but considering its age, it is in relatively good condition. The back label is missing, and the battery snap has been replaced. The op-amp IC is a Texas Instruments RC4558P MALAYSIA. The name "Distortion & Sustainer" means it produces a unique tone that combines a rich, dense fuzz-like quality with a mellow distortion sound.
