It was manufact ured in 2018 and features a stylish black finish. G&L was founded in 1980 by George Fullerton and Leo Fender, who have developed and manufactured many legendary instruments. Leo Fender's wife, Phyllis, remains with the company as Honorary Chairperson, as a reminder that the spirit and integrity of Leo Fender remain embedded in every instrument made by G&L. We have some recommended used items in stock from the "Tribute Series," which is made in Indonesia and aims for low costs while still retaining its USA heritage! This one here is a Stratocaster-style Legacy. Based on the wood grain and sound of the neck pocket, the body material is presumably swamp ash. The maple neck and fretboard are a perfect match. This wood material produces a tight, responsive sound! The easy-to-grip "Medium C" neck grip is finished with a luxurious gloss finish. This guitar incorporates modern specifications, including a gentle 12R fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets that are easy to touch! The bridge uses a Fender-designed G&L Dual-Fulcrum(TM) vibrato, which was created based on the concept that "string vibrations vibrate the wood grain." The three G&L CLF-100 Alnico V guitars provide just the right amount of compression and a lustrous sound that matches the swamp ash body perfectly, producing a sound so pleasant you'll find yourself unable to stop playing. What's even more attractive is that it features the ``PTB System Tone'' that is also familiar from the USA series! Unlike a normal tone circuit, the "Treble control" and "Bass control" located in the tone controls allow you to adjust unnecessary high and low frequencies just like operating an EQ. As an example of sound-making, simply turning down the "Bass Control" by about 2 will make the low and mid ranges a little cleaner, creating a clearer sound. By using both controls, you can easily adjust the sound to suit the range of your band!
