Kukui = Light that illuminates a bright future In April 2025, Kamaka will launch a new cost-effective series in Japan, ahead of the rest of the world. This series, named "Light Illuminating a Bright Future," was born from Kamaka's vision for nature conservation with an eye to the future. This ukulele features an eye-catching ebony headstock logo, and the mahogany back and sides are made from scraps from the sawing process, while the core material for the fingerboard and bridge is made from reprocessed scraps from the production of other series. The sides and back are machined to create a responsive sound, while also contributing to cost reduction by eliminating the need for processing steps! This is the birth of a series with a distinct personality that cannot be summed up simply by the word "eco."Size: Concert Body Material: Koa Top/Mahogany Back/Neck Material: Mahogany Fingerboard/Bridge Material: Koa Overall Length: 596mm Scale 381mm Number of frets: 16 Fret joint: 12 Frets *Case sold separately
