The guitars, crafted by skilled craftsmen at our factory in Nagano Prefecture, boast incredible cost performance and offer a wide lineup ranging from folk style to fingerstyle. This instrument, the F-92.LC, is an orchestra model from the Japan Forest Project, which is made using rare materials from Japan. The top is made of local cedar (jisugi) from Miyazaki Prefecture, and the sides and back are made of African mahogany.・Jisugi (local cedar) is a type of cedar grown in Japan that has been used for construction since ancient times. It is widely used in buildings due to its high durability and low warping. It has a tone similar to cedar wood and is characterized by a soft mid-to-high range. The "Original Orchestra Body," created by Morris after extensive research, retains the easy-to-hold advantage of the classic OM shape, while ensuring a thick body to produce a rich sound. Although it has the light sound that is unique to Japanese wood, the fundamental tone is a strong, powerful low mid range, giving the impression of a mellow and stable tone. The sound is thick and clear from the low to high strings, making it ideal for fingerstyle playing. When playing chords, the unique overtones of mahogany provide a nice balance. This is a conceptual piece that conveys the beauty of Japanese nature and the delicacy of handcraftsmanship.
