In the case of hybrid shells made of wood and carbon fiber, the individuality of the wood tends to stand out, and even if expensive carbon fiber material is used, the result tends to be not much different from covering materials (such as acrylic). The L30-1455 ICM produces a unique sound by reconsidering the ratio and combination of carbon fiber and maple wood, as well as the bearing edge and bed shape. For example, even the way a word is pronounced has a unique curve. To further accentuate this unique character, we've adopted an all-round edge and a 3mm deep flat bed, which suppresses the reaction of the snare wire and shell at pianissimo. This results in a snare drum with excellent sound separation, where the sound suddenly responds when a certain amount of force is applied, and then disappears completely when the pressure falls below that. It can be said that this drum is unique in that it has characteristics that are different from other Canopus snare drums, as it pursues a distinctive snare wire response.
