JAMES TYLER USED Studio Elite Psychedelic Vomit FRT Mamywo Body 1994 [SN. 465]
[Second-hand goods storage and sales (consignment second-hand goods)] Recommended used item! Long live James Tyler!! We've just received a popular model from James Tyler, the king of component guitars, in our consignment sale! This is an early 1994 Tyler! It's a striking, unique colorway: Psychedelic Vomit! This is a rock-esque guitar with a classic Mamuyo wood body, Series/Parallel switch, and FRT bridge mount! James Tyler Guitars are professional guitars that combine stunningly colorful psychedelic patterns with playability and a wide range of sound characters that guarantee the player the best playing performance! There are many unique Tyler colors, but Psychedelic Vomit is named after a hallucinatory ○○, and its beauty and flashiness make it a representative Tyler color alongside Jim Burst and Burning Water. The iconic color of James Tyler Guitars, Psychedelic Vomit, was born in 1991! Judging from the serial number, this is presumably a 1994 model. The maple fingerboard/neck is balanced with a Mamuyo body select wood material that blends easily into the ensemble! The rich, flat overtones of the classic Tyler Mam-Yo body, when combined with cutting-edge equipment, create a magical effect that captivates the listener! Of course, even with a simple setup, you can still enjoy a wild, raging rock sound! Although there is no spec sheet, based on the grain color and porosity visible through the bare arm contour, as well as the overall sound, it is safe to say that this is an instrument with a Mamuyo body. You can enjoy the natural, harmonically rich sound and tone that only a Mamuyo body can offer! The bridge is mounted with a Schaller Floyd Rose. Currently, the string height is approximately 1.7mm on the 6th string side and approximately 1.5mm on the 1st string side at the 12th fret. Due to the structure of this guitar, the string height cannot be lowered any further, but we believe that the current playability is still good enough. The weight is approximately 3.61kg, which is balanced to produce a firm sound. The neck features an impressive headstock and a beautiful bird's eye maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard! The neck shape, common to the current Extra Thin 59 shape, is thin and easy to grip, as seen on 80s and 90s models! The headstock is engraved with a rare handwritten signature by James Tyler! The included SKB hard case is also engraved with a rare handwritten signature by James Tyler! The neck has a moderate side scallop finish, making it even easier to grip and play! While Studio Elite models often feature 6100-type jumbo frets, this particular guitar has been replaced with 6105-type medium frets. There was some forward bending on the first string, so the frets were filed down at a repair shop before being sold on consignment. The tops of the frets have been aligned, so there are no issues with use in its current state. Approximately 85% of the frets remain. The truss rod was set to .009-.042 gauge, and the neck was loosened all the way to keep the frets straight, but with future use in mind, it has been set to .010-.046 gauge. There is plenty of room to tighten it. This item is a used item sold on consignment, and will be delivered in its current condition. (There is no warranty. Thank you for your understanding.) The pickups are the familiar quarter-pound James Tyler Ordinary Single Coil and Humbucker Pick Ups! The assembly features a Series/Parallel switch with a button switch. A dummy coil (noise-canceling coil) is installed in each of the front and center single coil pickups, and the switch selects whether the dummy coil is connected in series or parallel to the main pickup. The bottom push switch switches the rear HB between series and parallel. Pressing it switches to series. It also features a 2-way rear direct switch, allowing you to instantly switch from a backing tone in the front or center to a lead tone directly in the rear! Pushing it up selects rear direct. And although it doesn't have a preset button, it does have the mid-boost that James Tyler Guitars are known for! This is a guitar that allows for a wide range of sound creation! The popularity of James Tyler Guitars comes from the direct feedback of professional players! This guitar is easy to play, plays in any position, and lets you enjoy the wild sound of Tyler magic! Many Tyler fans describe the sound of James Tyler Guitars as "wild"! Especially in the 80s and 90s, James Tyler would often carve parts by hand. This handmade feel, in a good way, is thought to be one of the reasons for the unique, wild, rock sound that Tyler has! This time, we have a used item in stock for sale (consignment sale). It is estimated to be made in 1994. There are some small scratches, scratches from playing, tarnish on the pickguard, tarnish on the metal parts, and rust, but none of these affect playability. There are no large, noticeable scratches or dents that expose the wood. We maintain and clean the equipment at our store and repair shop, so it is ready for immediate use. As mentioned above, the frets have been replaced with 6105-type medium frets. There was some forward bending on the 1st string side, so they were filed down. There are no problems with using it as is. Approximately 85% of the frets remain. The truss rod is currently at its peak on the fret. While there is plenty of room to loosen the neck, there is plenty of room to tighten it. The gauge is set to .010-.046. This item is a used item sold on consignment, and will be delivered in its current condition. (There is no warranty. Thank you for your understanding.) The electrical system has been checked at a repair shop and is in perfect working order. It weighs approximately 3.61 kg, and is balanced to produce a solid sound. This is a Psychedelic Vomit color, a unique color that exudes an overwhelming presence! Accessories include an SKB hard case, key, and arm. James Tyler is in short supply!
