La Bella's old-style "Olinto Bass"! The Olinto Bass is an all-handmade, old-style model from La Bella, a long-established string manufacturer in NYC since 1914. La Bella has been designing high-quality strings in collaboration with numerous renowned instrument makers for decades, contributing to the creation of the best bass sound for musicians around the world. This model is a result of La Bella's commitment to creating instruments that maximize the unique qualities of their strings. Named after one of Labella's founders, the "Olinto" model is crafted using only the finest woods, with each body individually shaped by hand and equipped with a custom pickup. Its powerful midrange tone and dynamic range make it easy to play with your fingers or a pick. As for condition, this instrument was originally manufactured in 2023 and has been aged. In addition to the aging, there is some lacquer melting on the horn, likely from a strap, and some light scratches on the fingerboard, but it is still playable. The nut width is approximately 38mm, and the slim neck makes it extremely easy to play. The serial number on the neck end is different from the one on the certificate, but as this is likely a custom order, the details are unknown.
