ESP M-II DX The M-II is one of ESP's most representative models, and its bolt-on version, the M-II DX, has been re-released with updated specifications. The body is made of roasted alder, a material that has seen increasing demand in recent years. Roasting reduces weight and improves strength, while also reducing the effects of aging. The result is a clear tone with good projection in the mid- and high-range. The neck is a three-piece hard maple neck reinforced with carbon rods, as before, and the fingerboard is made of ebony. The top position markers feature a double stripe made of MOP and acrylic, as also used on the HORIZON. The side position markers are made of Luminlay, a phosphorescent material. The neck joint has been upgraded from the previous ERGO joint to the T-5 Ultimate Access. In addition to the neck set plate, five screws secure the joint, improving the fit between the body and neck, resulting in a tighter, more dynamic sound. The entire joint has also been smoothly machined, and the cutaway on the first string side of the body top now features a high cut, just like the M-II CTM, dramatically improving access to the upper register and allowing for stress-free, technical lead playing. The bridge is equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo unit. It allows for extreme arm movements, and its locking mechanism ensures virtually no tuning drift. The pickups are the classic Seymour Duncan SH-1n The '59 and TB-4 JB combination. From mild vintage tones to modern, overtone-rich drive tones, this guitar offers a wide range of tone, from clean to high-gain. The guitar also features a direct mount, replacing the traditional escutcheon mount, for a more direct response. Coil splitting is possible by pushing or pulling the tone knob. This outputs the neck coil of the bridge pickup and neck pickup, producing a light, clear tone with a single-coil feel. Flexible sound creation is possible, regardless of genre. The color variations are the classic black and white, as well as the highly popular Granite Sparkle, which is also popular with the E-II. All are finished with a satin finish, creating a sophisticated and luxurious feel. ◆The T-5 Ultimate Access joint provides high-position playability and a strong joint with five screws. The smoothly finished body makes fingering surprisingly stress-free even in high fret positions. ◆The jack output jack section has a boat-shaped plate embedded into it. ◆The switch master tone uses a switch pot, allowing you to switch to a single coil-style sound with just one touch. ◆The top position position mark uses a double stripe type. The side position position uses Luminlay, a phosphorescent material with good visibility. ◆Pickup mount By adopting a direct mount that fixes the pickup directly to the body, we have shifted to a tighter sound.Weight≒3.39kg BODY: Roasted Alder (Thickness 45mm) NECK: Hard Maple 3P GRIP SHAPE: Thin U FINGERBOARD: Selected Ebony RADIUS: 305R SCALE: 648mm NUT: Locknut (R2/42mm) INLAY: (Top)Double Stripes(MOP&Acrylic), (Side)Luminlay SGW-23L FRET: EXJ-SS, 24frets CONSTRUCTION: Bolt-on(T-5 Ultimete Access) TUNER: GOTOH SG360-07 MG-T BRIDGE: Floyd Rose Original PICKUPS: (Neck) Seymour Duncan SH-1n w/Black Nickel Cover, (Bridge) Seymour Duncan TB-4 w/Black Nickel Cover PARTS COLOR: Black CONTROLS: Master Volume, Master Tone(w/ Coil Sprit SW), 3WAY Lever PU Selector SET STRINGS: .009-.042 Gig bag included
