This is a lovely Italian wool suiting, soft and refined with a yarn-dyed, tweedy crossweave. It is opaque and medium-light weight with a soft drape that has some body. The “right” side has a slight brushed, basketweave effect, but the reverse is nice as well with a more grid-like appearance. Bluestone, pewter and black threads are woven closely together for an overall impression of a muted blue/black (PANTONE 18-3920, 19-1102).
