When you pick up an instrument, the first thing you touch is the strings. Strings vibrate, produce sound, and are the first things that determine your feel. That's why we're so committed to creating something better. ■The History of Modeljoy Stringjoy was founded to provide musicians with better options. Starting as the world's first custom guitar string shop, we offered professional-level customization to all players. As demand grew, so did our vision. Prioritizing tone, feel, and playability over volume or speed, we built our own manufacturing facility in Nashville. Through the use of the finest materials, precise craftsmanship, and rigorous quality control, our strings are designed to deliver a richer tone, superior playability, and longer lifespan. ■Why strings? For decades, strings have been treated more as everyday items than as crafts. However, strings are the most crucial part of the signal path and the source of all sound. If you want an exceptional tone, you need strings made specifically for it. ■Balanced Tension Set: Through extensive experimentation with various strings, we identified the fundamental issues related to tension. The problem was solved by customizing the gauge to the appropriate level, resulting in string sets (such as BAL10 and BAL9) that achieve uniform pitch and excellent intonation across the entire fretboard. ■ Eliminating gaps in the winding increases volume and improves feel. Our strings are wound one by one with tension applied to the core wire. Our strings have actual contact between the windings, unlike other brands which have tiny gaps. This increases the mass per string, resulting in greater volume and a smoother feel. ■ Nitrogen-filled individual packaging for each string: Each string is individually packaged in a nitrogen-filled package, removing oxygen and creating an environment that maintains the same fresh condition as when it was first wound. • The core-to-winding ratio has been optimized to achieve playability and perfect intonation. Our ball end processing is designed to ensure that we produce perfect strings every time, taking into account the tensile strength and torsional durability of each gauge. - The ball end features a long, precise twist to ensure tuning stability. • Uses high-carbon steel core wire manufactured in Tennessee.
