The Sidecar-24V-JPN internally boosts the 9V power supply to 24V, increasing headroom and reducing distortion, compression, and sag. It's also ideal for bass, baritone, and low-tuned guitars. The domestic limited model "Sidecar-24V-JPN" uses a 9V power supply and internally boosts it to 24V for high-voltage operation, ensuring sufficient headroom. The classic 808 circuit is recreated with the versatility of a powerful 2-band EQ inspired by vintage Studer recording consoles. The distinctive and attitudeful Sidecar delivers classic overdrive and distortion, and in extreme settings, even fuzz and boost. The Sidecar's front end is an improved version of the classic 808 overdrive, tuned for a larger low end, wider gain range, and greater headroom. At the heart of the clipping section is a pair of germanium diodes with a softer response, preserving the dynamics and feel of your playing.
