This is a spectacular matelasse weave brocade from Alice & 0livia, made in Italy, and we have only 2.5 yards! It has a lot of dimensional surface texture, and with it's gorgeous ra ised floral clusters (woven-in, not printed, 24.5" repeat) it is perfect for a special occasion topper coat, jacket, suit, sheath dress, etc. The colors are black and lipstick red enhanced with black, reflective lurex threads (PANTONE 19-1764). The "lurex" aspect is festive yet very tasteful, with a soft lustre. Gorgeous quality, and it is an opaque and malleable suiting weight with a good amount of body in the drape.
