From a NY designer, this is a wonderful yarn-dyed diagonally striped ponte, a medium weight doubleknit with 4-way stretch (40% widthwise and 20% lengthwise) and diagonal ribbing on the "right side". On the face it has blue and black striping (PANTONE 19-4151 is close) and the reverse is a tweedy blend of the sky and black threads, and can serve as nice contrast. Perfect for a form-fitting jacket, skinny pants, fitted dress or skirt, tunic, etc. An interesting chevron effect can be achieved by alternating the direction of the stripes on different pattern pieces.
