K.YAIRI is a Japanese brand that has maintaine d its craftsmanship spirit since the 1970s, with a small team of around 30 people working hand-crafted instruments under the slogan "Made in Japan, from a workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture." Their wide-ranging lineup ranges from custom models to budget-friendly models, but their commitment to making everything in Japan has earned them popularity not only in Japan but around the world, with fans all over the world. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the Nylon Series is the pinnacle of K Yairi's finest gut guitars in its class. The YC-8 features a classic body with an orthodox 12-fret joint, a solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard. It features the soft, rich tone that is characteristic of Yairi guitars, and produces a deep, beautiful tone from low to high registers, creating an authentic gut guitar sound.
