It combines a harmonically rich Hole rever b with a 4-voice chorus featuring a gentle high-cut filter and feedback control. This structure allows SINKHOLE to reach the depths of reverb with feedback control, extracting otherworldly modulations such as pseudo-phasers and auto-filters from the comb filter. And these never get out of control; they're all within the realm of reverb. When the reverb trail is extended to its limits, the long decay is so intense that it freezes the signal in space. The extreme settings evoke vintage analog-digital hybrid synthesizer pads, retaining modulated notes.
