With the Pirates and Rebellion entry-level models now discontinued, the Pirates Mark 2 has been launched as a new entry-level model, enjoying immense popularity since its release. At first glance, it might seem identical to previous Pirates models, but a look at the headstock photo will reveal the difference. It features the same scalloped headstock tip as the higher-end Prime model. Additionally, although it's a down-only setup, the tremolo unit has been refined with a recessed design. The 5:1 head, a signature feature of Killer products, is a design choice that caters to the many fans who appreciate the cut at the tip. Even among entry-level models, the presence or absence of this cut makes a significant difference in appearance. The body is made of sen wood, which has a beautiful grain and a tone with less treble than ash, resulting in a mild sound that is easy for beginners to handle.
