MJ-TOCHI/E/IKB 50th (SELECTED PREMIUM TOCHI TOP/EBONY/PPL-GRD-MH) [Ikebe 50th Anniversary Special Edition] [Ikebe Musical Instruments 50th Anniversary Model] Using the Japanese hor se chestnut (Tochi) wood, which is becoming synonymous with the Momose brand, we have created a precious model that not only boasts excellent wood specifications but also features special designs not available in our regular models, such as gradient colors and rose patterns! ■Selected Premium Tochi Top The top of this instrument uses special "Tochi wood," selected by Ikebe staff from a stock of wood carefully chosen by craftsmen at Asuka Factory. Tochi wood has a long history in Japan, having been used for furniture and building materials since ancient times, and is characterized by the fact that many pieces have a rich grain. ■Purple Gradation/Matching Head The deep wood grain stands out clearly, giving it a strong presence, and it's finished with a matching headstock in a purple gradient color. The contrast in the wood grain of the carefully selected horse chestnut wood is extremely beautiful, and it shows various expressions depending on the coloring. ■Ebony Fingerboard/ Abalone Inlay The fretboard is made of ebony wood, which has a deep black color. Compared to the standard rosewood, it is heavier, and its clear tone, responsiveness, and rich sustain add depth to your playing.
