The Scream to Eternity is a pedal that condenses two legendary overdrive circuits—the Tube Screamer and the boutique Eternity—into a compact enclosure. The 808 side is faithful to the original, featuring buffered processing and a warm, distinctive midrange that stands out. The Eternity side completely eliminates the buffer, opening up the signal path and achieving a wider, more transparent sound. It has a slightly dark impression, yet it's dynamic and lively. The carefully selected diodes also allow you to switch between three distinct sounds. • 1S1588 - An original 808 diode found in the initial production lot. This diode was specified by Susumu Tamura, the developer of Maxon's 808. It produces a tight, focused, and powerful sound.・1N914 - A sweet, light, and open sound. • LED - High output with almost no compression. Powerful, unfiltered sound. Furthermore, it features a brown switch that increases the gain by approximately 30%, emphasizing a richer, deeper midrange.
