The legendary effects pedal, the Fuzz Face. Used by legendary artists, and as evidenced by the numerous reissue and inspired models produced, its sound remains in demand in a wide variety of settings. Based on the specifications of each part, we believe this unit was shipped around 1972. While there are scratches and signs of use on the casing, age-related discoloration of the decal logo, shrinkage of the rubber pads around the switches, and tarnishing of the metal parts, it is in relatively good condition overall. The metal plate above the control knobs is missing. It features two BC209C transistors. Characterized by its coarse, strong distortion, this is a fascinating pedal that becomes more extreme and raw as you increase the fuzz.
