The mahogany body bonded to the neck is not a flat joint, but rather a "U"-shaped joint. This increases the joint area of the neck-through, which can often produce a cold sound, and enhances the fullness of the body resonance, a key factor in producing a tone that remains inimitable to this day! This pre-owned 1965 Firebird V was manufactured in 2001. It features a unique body shape, a long vibrator with leaf springs, and, since it's a "V" type, a Gibson Tune-O-Matic ABR-1 bridge.
