A book that has found favor with many Czech readers and has become popular also thanks to the excellent film by Jiří Menzel, is now coming to the lovers of Bohumil Hrabal's work in a new rendition, as an audiobook. The role of the charming wife of the brewery manager and the narrator of the entire novel is lovingly taken on by actress Tereza Bebarová, while Ondřej Havelka and his Melody Makers provide musical accompaniment, choosing and respectfully presenting not only naive songs from the repertoire of First Republic street musicians but also delightful musical pieces by Jiří Šusta, which are known from the aforementioned film version.
