This cymbal, crafted using a newly developed method that involves burying the metal in the ground for three months after molding, has a color reminiscent of the mineral Painite and is characterized by a unique trashy and dry sound. - HiHat 16'' - This manufacturing method, which can be described as a natural dry finish, results in a tight sound with suppressed overtones, allowing even the most delicate sticking to shine through. The three founders of Bosphorus were close childhood friends who became cymbal makers at a very young age, diligently training and mastering every step of the cymbal-making process. Their mentors were masters who created legendary cymbals in the 60s and 70s, and they learned traditional manufacturing methods from them. After working at that workshop for 16 years, the three men established their own company. They still maintain good relationships with their former employees and continue to work on cymbal making with respect for the mentor who taught them the craft. The three cymbal masters, drawing on nearly 30 years of experience, continue to handcraft cymbals in their workshop, helping their apprentices create perfect cymbals.
