A 2018 Custom Shop white Thumb Bass! This is a custom-made model where Ikebe staff personally selected the materials and determined the specifications during a factory tour in the home country! With its solid white finish, intricately figured birdseye maple fretboard, and vibrant gold hardware and W logo, this guitar boasts a dazzling and stylish look. Although hidden by the finish, the body is made of bubinga pomare, carefully selected locally. The electronics utilize MEC pickups and preamps, which produce a lustrous sound. The pickup covers are also uniformly white to match the body color. The high-polish finish gives it a tight tone, a sound image with just the right amount of compression, and a firm, punchy attack, allowing you to enjoy a wide range of expressive nuances. The Thumb Bass is appealing for its tight, straightforward tone. Its low end, which remains unwavering even in loud band ensembles, and its crisp, clear sound make it a great choice for a wide range of bassists. There are some minor scratches and tarnishing on the parts, but there are no noticeable dents and it is in excellent condition.
