Led by skilled drum makers John Machado and Daniel Jensen, a small, elite team of about 10 people manufactured a variety of original drums. Their approach was truly "anything goes," allowing for almost any custom-made option imaginable, from the shell material and specifications to the finish and parts. In particular, the original snare drum with its extra-thick shell and large vent holes produces an intense volume and projection. He was extremely popular among drummers in the loud music scene at the time. -30-Ply Vent Holes Snare Drum- This is the iconic snare drum from OCDP, designed by Daniel Jensen. By using maple wood and incorporating large ventilation holes into the ultra-thick 30-ply shell, it delivers an explosive attack and overwhelming volume for superior projection. In particular, the ferocious, explosive sound produced by the high-tension tuning stands out remarkably even at high volumes, without being drowned out.
