"True Vintage Boogie – The Legendary 'Mark IIC+' Returns" The Mark IIC+ is a model that truly deserves to be called "Vintage Boogie." Its design is based on the original "Mark II" (now called "Mark II-A"), the world's first "dual-mode" amplifier, which featured independent playing modes specifically for clean and overdrive sounds. The "IIC+" represents the third generation of its innovative single-channel/dual-mode layout, incorporating all the improvements made to the original format over the approximately five years since its introduction. This model was also the final model in the series, as its successor featured three performance modes and was named "MARK III." The IIC+'s control section is consolidated into a single row and is shared between the two modes (preamps): rhythm (clean) and lead (overdrive). The gain and volume controls are independent yet influence each other, allowing you to optimize the gain structure for each mode, while the tone control governs the overall voicing. Fine-tuning of the sound is done using the "PULL SHIFT" function built into each control (some are exclusive to specific modes) and the built-in 5-band graphic EQ. The "Q" values for each band (frequency range of the slider potentiometer) are set relatively wide around the center frequency, yet it is still possible to quickly perform surprisingly precise and musical sound shaping. The rear panel of the IIC+ features essential functions that allow this amplifier to remain relevant even 40 years after its release. For ease of use on stage, the global "PRESENCE" and "REVERB" controls are centrally located. Furthermore, the series-connected buffered effects loop allows for smooth connection and operation of spatial effects and other effects. The power select switch located on the far right (left side when viewed from the front) allows you to choose between a 75W "SIMUL-CLASS" output that boasts rich resonance, overwhelming presence, and maximum headroom, and a "CLASS A" mode that reduces the output to 25W, alters the low-frequency characteristics, and provides smooth power tube distortion (clipping) even at lower volumes. The speaker output terminals include one 8Ω and two 4Ω terminals, accommodating a wide range of cabinet impedances. Furthermore, it features a "SLAVE" terminal for extracting the signal from the speaker output, although this is not a direct out (with cabinet simulation) for direct connection to a console or audio interface. This allows you to extract the sound of the entire amplifier, including the preamplifier and power amp, (as an uncorrected signal) and send it to an IR loader or external processor. This function can also be used to build modern "dry/wet/wet" system configurations.Date:・An authentic recreation of the legendary MESA/Boogie Mark IIC+・Footswitchable Dual Mode Preamp・Selectable Simul-Class (75 Watts) or Class A (25 Watts) Power・Built-in Footswitchable Tube-Driven Spring Reverb・Footswitchable 5-Band Graphic EQ・Slave Output for use with Wet/Dry/Wet rigs and external IR readers・Series, Buffered Effects Loop Channels Modes:Single Channel/Dual Mode (RHYTHM & LEAD) Graphic Eq Reverb FX Solo: FX Loop/5 Band Graphic EQ/Reverb Mode Voicings Styles: RHYTHM - Traditional Clean to Vintage Gain, Independent Volume 1 (Gain) with Pull Bright & Master 1 with Pull Deep Controls to set initial gain independent of playing volume LEAD ?
