This is a step above t he rest, featuring an alder body! It boasts the crisp attack characteristic of a maple neck, and the powerful, clear, vintage-inspired sound from the installed Texas Special pickups. It handles a wide range of sounds, from sparkling clean tones to edgy blues and rock, making it a classic Stratocaster that suits any player. This particular guitar is in player's condition, with paint cracks at the neck joint, age-appropriate scratches, wear, discoloration, dents, and significant tarnishing and rust on the hardware. The frets have about 70% of their height remaining, and while the truss rod is slightly tightened, there is less than half a turn left to tighten it further, and the neck is generally straight.
