Compression, clean boost/gain boost, and mid-range sound adjustment—all intuitively controllable with this completely new concept pedal. There are five knobs: compression, level, gain, color1, and color2. The compression function is based on Limetone Audio's Focus compressor pedal, providing studio-quality compression with simple operation. The timing of the LED lights up, its intensity, and when it turns off allows you to intuitively understand the compression status. The level and gain knobs are located after the compression pedal, allowing for a clean boost with the level knob and a gain boost with the gain knob. The gain boost, in particular, has a tone curve setting that is ideal for pushing the distortion of subsequent pedals/amps, allowing you to create a powerful drive sound. Both color1 and color2 are knobs that control the midrange frequencies, with the 12 o'clock position being flat. By boosting or cutting a limited range that cannot be controlled with amplifiers or regular effects pedals, it is possible to fine-tune and refine sounds in ways that were previously impossible. Another feature of the FOCUS-NX is that turning either color1 or color2 beyond 3 o'clock produces a sound with a distinctive midrange. Color1 has a slightly higher frequency, while color2 has a slightly lower frequency. Raising color1 to near its maximum value produces a modern sound, while raising color2 produces a sound similar to a classic half-wah pedal. (While it's intended to be set up with only one of them raised, it's also possible to raise both to create an even more aggressive sound.) Each function (compressor, booster, midtone shifter) can be selected to be used or not used by adjusting the knob settings, and each function can be used individually or in combination.Condition: No problems with use.
