The Paranormal Precision Bass Thinline SJ is a reinterpretation of early Fender bass designs, resulting in a resonant instrument with a semi-hollow construction. It features a unique SJ pickup configuration, with a Fender-designed Alnico single-coil '51 P Bass pickup in the neck position and a Fender-designed Alnico single-coil Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge position. The 3-way blade switch allows you to switch between these two pickups, giving you the freedom to bring out a wide range of sonic characteristics, from the deep, thick, woody tone of the original Precision Bass to the tight growl of the Jazz Bass. Furthermore, the semi-hollow, slim body construction provides natural acoustic resonance and reduced weight, improving playability. The comfortable C-shaped neck, 4-saddle vintage-style bridge with slotted barrel saddles, satin urethane finish neck, and vintage-style open-gear tuners provide stable tuning and a smooth playing feel. *The image is a sample.
