Pico Shimmer features three distinct shimmer reverb scenes. INTERGALACTIC This is a classic shimmer sound that combines polyphonic octave, reverb, modulated delay, compression, and string synthesis. It creates a grand, cinematic space by morphing from plate reverb to classic shimmer and then to ethereal string sounds. OFF-WORLD This shimmer sound has a smoother, gentler character. Enhanced delay modulation creates an ambient soundscape with the warmth and ethereal quality of a vintage synth. ETHERDUST This glitchy shimmer sound is created by randomly changing the delay time. From delicate, particle-like sparkles to unique glitchy echoes, it produces unpredictable and distinctive spatial expressions. The controls are simple yet very powerful. BLEND adjusts the balance between the dry and effected sounds, while TONE controls the overall brightness of the sound. The TIME knob sets the reverb's decay time, and setting it to maximum can generate an infinitely continuing reverb. The VOICE knob allows you to continuously switch between plate reverb, classic shimmer, and ethereal string sounds, giving you the freedom to create your desired ambience. Furthermore, by long-pressing the SCENE button, you can access secondary functions, allowing you to finely adjust the reverb mix, delay time, and modulation depth and speed. Additionally, by holding down the footswitch, you can instantly activate Infinite Reverb and add a sustained sound similar to a synth pad.
