HIDE&SEEK is a twin-type compact effects pedal that combines two different overdrive pedals into one. The left pedal is the Bright Horse, modeled after the KLON Centaur, while the right pedal is the TSH-10, modeled after the Japanese-made TS10. The pedals are connected in series, but you can switch between the left and right pedals using the switch on the front right. Each of the two pedals has a buffer on/off function. This feature allows you to have a wide variety of sounds with just two pedals. For example, set Bright Hprse as a buffer and use only the TSH10. By simply toggling the front/rear switch, you can choose to place the buffer before or after the TSH10. On the left side of the front panel is a switch to toggle the clipping diode of the Brighthose. The top setting is germanium, and the bottom setting is silicon. This only has an effect when the GAIN is increased. Changing the diode has a slight effect, but it provides more subtle tonal changes. When silicon is selected, the compression and tension are reduced, resulting in a silky touch. There is a switch on the internal circuit board to switch between 9V and 18V operation for the TSH-10. Another switch is for selecting the Bright Horse buffer tone. It switches the pass capacitor to 4.7μF. *There is some crackling in the treble knob.Condition: No problems with functionality.
