This limited-edition model for the trade show features the theme of "Summer Fireflies and Cherry Blossoms," incorporating the fantastical imagery of fireflies dancing on a summer night and cherry blossoms floating on the water's surface into its design, creating an unprecedented and enchanting world of cherry blossoms! In keeping with the theme, phosphorescent materials are used throughout the design. The way they glow faintly in the dark evokes the magical glow of fireflies dancing on a summer night. [Colors inspired by the evening sky when fireflies begin to dance] In addition to a color scheme inspired by the sky as dusk turns into night and fireflies begin to fly, the body back features a gold holographic paint that emits a fantastical glow. Inspired by the scenery of fireflies dancing in Nagano Prefecture, this model captures the ephemeral glow of fireflies and the fleeting beauty of cherry blossoms, creating a magical scene in a single timepiece. [A design that evokes the summer night scene woven by fireflies and cherry blossoms] The design is themed around summer fireflies and cherry blossoms, incorporating the fantastical scenery of a summer night throughout. The fretboard, made of phosphorescent material, glows softly in the dark, and the headstock depicts fireflies and cherry blossoms quietly glowing on leaves. Furthermore, the pickguard is adorned with dancing fireflies and cherry blossoms, expressing the fleeting yet beautiful scenery of Japanese summer. [A special soundhole cover that enhances the theme's worldview] The soundhole cover features a design combining fireflies and cherry blossoms, with a delicately drawn woman holding a Japanese umbrella. While maintaining a sense of unity with the guitar body, this special soundhole cover also stands out as a piece of art. [Features the latest structure in the ATB series] The "Extra Slim U Neck" is adopted, which prioritizes thinness and overturns the conventional image of Headway necks. The stability that is a characteristic of Headway necks is taken into consideration, and rigidity is enhanced by the "High Strength Neck" specification with an embedded carbon bar. The effect of the carbon bar is not only stability, but also suppresses unnecessary neck flex, and string vibrations are transmitted smoothly to the body top, improving the expressiveness of the high frequencies. [Semi-forward shifted bracing] Headway Master Builder Yasuo Momose inherited a bracing design he developed after studying the bracing of a vintage 1934 guitar. The X-shaped cross position is semi-forward shifted, closer to the soundhole, resulting in better bass response and a fuller sound than when new. The design also takes into consideration the stability of the top plate, as it is positioned about 5mm closer to the bridge than a standard forward shift. A fantastic instrument with outstanding artistry, sound, and playability!
