Gerald Wasserman This circa 1947 gouache on paper portrait painting of a man in a hat is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920-2011). Wasserman studi ed at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association. He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
