The Φ (Phi) has been updated, allowing you to switch between three compressor circuits with a simple toggle switch. The built-in smart switching circuit lets you determine which type of compression is most effective. Each all-analog circuit has its own unique tone, with different compression characteristics, control range, and response, making it suitable for any style. ■FET: A fast-responding, fat, and aggressive sound mode reminiscent of the legendary rack compressor "1176". ■OTA: A dynamic and versatile sound mode reminiscent of vintage "Ross Compressor" and "Dyna-Comp" pedals. ■OPTO: A sound mode that uses carefully selected photocells to provide a natural response according to the strength of the input signal. ■FET Compression Circuit Ratio/Distortion Trimmer: Allows adjustment of the gain and compression ratio in FET mode when using high-output guitars or basses. ■HEADROOM Switch: Allows you to boost DC9V to DC18V. Selecting 18V increases headroom. ■OUTPUT Switch: Allows selection of the output gain level. In "H" mode, the gain is boosted by 8dB. Headroom is boosted internally.
