Very good.Heinemann,1969.First UK edition-first printing.Three volume Companion set,including:Part 1,1901-1907 & Part 2,1907-1911 & Part 3,1911-1914.Red hardbacks(gilt lettering to the spines,small nicks,marks and light shelf wear on the edges of the covers) with Dj covers(two small tears,creases,nicks and a couple of scratches on the Dj covers),both in VGC.Nice and clean pages but with some foxing and ink marks on the outer edges,owner stamps (not library stamp) inside the first blank pages of the books,small creases on the edges of the pages,light shelf wear on the Dj covers(slightly yellow).The books are in VGC for its age but with light shelf wear.2180pp(in total)including Short Biographies,Addenda to Companion Vol. I,index's.Price un-clipped.Heavy books(approx. 4 kg plus).A collectable first edition three volume set.
