This is a fabulous and unique jacquard woven, a medium weight wool blend with some body in the drape and no stretch. The "artful dots" design (9" repeat) features a pattern of dots in light copper, dark copper and limoncello on a mottled mahogony background (PANTONE 19-1230, 18-1242, 16-1439, etc.). The spots are woven in threads that have a soft sheen in the center that gradually becomes more matte as they blend with the fuzzy mohair background surface texture. Though it is not meant to be reversible the back side is very pretty as well, with a broad striping of float stitches and an inverted pattern of wooly dots.
