This is a gorgeous, yarn-dyed jacquard knit, a little lighter in weight and drape than a doubleknit and not as heavy or firm as ponte. Note that this fabric is extra wide, measuring 70"! The wonderful "twilight floral" pattern (10.5" repeat) is knitted in butterscotch, soft white and deep indigo, which is blended with blue and copper Lurex for a lovely sparkle throughout the background (PANTONE 16-0948, 19-3722, etc.). The back side has an overall impression of tan with some shimmer, and with a bit of the floral pattern showing through. It has 10% stretch in the width only and is opaque with some body in the drape. It would be perfect for a tunic, cardigan, eye-catching jacket, top, sheath dress, skirt, etc. So versatile!
