A substantial vintage 14K yellow gold heart pendant with a hammered-texture enhancer bail - the kind of piece that opens up to clip onto an existing chain or pearl strand, transforming any necklace into something a little bit more. The heart body is rendered in high-polish 14K yellow gold with a generous proportion that gives the piece presence on the chain. The enhancer bail above the heart is wider with a beautifully hammered texture, hinged so it opens with a small thumb release and snaps shut securely - ideal for swapping the pendant between chains, layering with other enhancer pieces, or hanging on a strand of pearls. Solid 14K yellow gold throughout, 5.9g. Pair with any chain, pearl strand, or beaded necklace - the enhancer mechanism makes this versatile in ways a fixed-bail pendant isn't.
