Gerald Wasserman This mid-late 20th century colorful gouache and graphite on paper abstract figurative scene is by Monterey/Carmel artist of Russian descent, Gerald Wasserman (1920 -2011). Wasserman studied at the Chicago Art Institute and was a long time member and exhibitor at the Carmel Art Association. He exhibited, lived, and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
