This is a very striking genuine Japanese Vintage Silk Haori.The fabric is a mid-weight Silk with a slightly puffy and lustrous finish typical of hand tied tie-dye (shibori).This ga rment is hand-made and hand-stitched in the traditional way. You will see slight variations in the small cells. This is not a flaw but proof that this garment is hand tie-dyed.It makes an excellent and unusual traditional costume, gives an unique effect. Great to wear as a holiday and dressing garment.
