From Italian designer deadstock, this is a lovely jacquard sweater knit (tightly knit), similar in weight and drape to a doubleknit and not as firm as ponte. The yarn-dyed "tweedy flecks" design (3" repeat) is knitted in dove gray, metallic silver and jet black (PANTONE 15-0000, etc.). The back side is a mélange of all three fibers, with a metallic sparkle throughout and the same soft texture as the face. It has 20% stretch in the width only, and is opaque with some body in the drape.
