A-136 is an 8HP distortion and waveshaping module with extensive tuning parameters. The input signal (audio or control voltage) is internally in the module first divided into 3 separate signal paths, which are mixed together at the output with adjustable gain (positive / negative): Positive proportion with adjustable clipping threshold (also external) and gain / reduction (+/-) Negative component with adjustable clipping threshold (also external) and gain / reduction (+/-) Original signal with adjustable amplification / reduction (+/-) By setting the 5 parameters differently, very complex waveform distortions or waveform modifications (waveshaping) are possible. The changes range from simple hard or soft clipping to completely modified waveforms in which the input signal is no longer recognizable. Brand new with warranty.
