Igor is a tutor who specializes in mathematics and computer science with three years of experience teaching small groups and coaching students for national exams and competitions. He is a graduate student at KAIST and an award-winning competitor, having been the Absolute Winner of his country’s National Olympiad in Programming and a three-time winner at the international Tournament of Towns in mathematics. Mostly self-taught and holding several national certifications, he favors rigorous, example-driven explanations and offers multiple ways to understand concepts rather than oversimplifying them. Igor works with learners from grade 7 through college and adults across subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, linear algebra, Python, coding, machine learning, data science, and robotics. Families appreciate his clear, patient style and his ability to challenge advanced students while keeping lessons approachable. In his free time he enjoys computer games and often uses them as a friendly way to connect with students during breaks.
