Gilson E76. Handsome 12 volume set in mid-brown cloth with the original maroon leather labels darkened to a deep brown. Facsimile signature of Jane Austen, gilt, on upper board. Pa ge edges rough cut. Each volume has an illustration frontispiece with protective tissue on which the caption is printed in red. All six novels, plus a volume including Lady Susan, The Watsons, and the Memoir by JEAL. Letters volume title page states "Letters of Jane Austen Selected from the Compilation of her great nephew Edward, Lord Brabourne By Sarah Chauncey Woolsey". SCW is better known as the author Susan Coolidge. Her preface is included along with 78 letters. Set is limited to 250 unnumbered copies. This is a fine set.
