Made in Italy, this is a fine quality printed cotton lawn, an opaque shirting weight that is soft and smooth with a tight weave. It has a cottony body in the drape and is stable in both directions. The delightful, Liberty-esque "botanical embroidery" print (5" repeat) features a flatlay of leaves and flowers which, if you look closely, appear to be embroidered (but are printed). The color story is forget-me-not, light tealy green, bronze, olive green, etc. on a subdued navy background (PANTONE 17-0942, 14-4908, 16-3920, 19-4025 is close, etc.).
