Jane Mitchell This circa 1970s graphite on paper abstract with highly intricate linework is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell stud ied Art History and Fine Art at Wheaton College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. c. 1970sGraphite on Paper27.5"x21.5" framed, 17.25"x12.25" unframed Signed lower right. Good vintage condition with minor age toning. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame with a grey and silver finish with a natural linen inset using warm white archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
