Jane Mitchell This circa 1970-80s abstracted geometric graphite drawing on paper is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art History and Fine Art at Wheaton College and the University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. 1970-80sGraphite on Paper 20"x24" framed, 11.75"x17.25" unframed Signed lower right. Good vintage condition.
