Under this limestone is Mintaro slate, so it's a classic ‚'soft rock' site but underpinned by slate. That's unusual. Also, the mix of riesling clones is rare. It has bright, fresh aromas of lemon drop and lemon meringue aromatics. There's a soft fleshiness in the mouth with intense and concentrated lemon and lemon curd flavours with a hint of kaffir lime. Deliciously reflecting both site and season, it is a complete wine with a finish that is supple, fine and extremely long."
