From Italian designer deadstock, this stunning over-printed jacquard brocade is opaque with a weightless feel. The jacquard weave offers some dimension and alternates between a mat te and satiny sheen. The warp threads are synthetic while the weft are cotton. The base fabric is a mix of medium and light blue fog and the "color expression" print (23.5" repeat) features shades of flame red, lemon, azure blue and off-black (PANTONE 15-4706, 17-1537, 14-0756, etc.). Best for a tailored sheath dress, evening coat, jacket, suit, etc. This fabric should be lined as the reverse, while soft to the touch, is not meant to be seen. Dry cleaning is best.
