From deadstock of the famous designer, this is a wonderful bouclé woven, a coating weight with a classic pairing of black and winter white. The yarn-dyed plaid design has a 7.25" r epeat. It has the typical looped yarns that you find with a bouclé, but flattened for a smoother surface texture. It is malleable, very soft and opaque with some body in the drape. Suitable for jackets, coats, cape, heavier suiting, etc. The reverse is comfortable and attractive so lining is not necessary, but a charmeuse or Bemberg lining would make a beautiful finish.
