Here is a Lionel 6-9268 O Gauge Northern Pacific Bay Window Illuminated Caboose from 1977. This car has a bit of an interesting history. Originally, Lionel made the 1976 Northern Pacific Service Station Special set with a 9177 NP Caboose in prototypical green and yellow markings. However, many collectors complained that it did not match the 8666 GP-9 Locomotive, so Lionel made the 9268 the following year as an add-on to the set to match the engine. This car was never in the regular Lionel catalog and is somewhat hard to find. This caboose features interior illumination, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.This item has been graded per TCA standards C-8: Excellent based on visual appearance. .
